Collection: Sidai Designs

Sidai are working towards social change and empowering the Masai women in Tanzania. They preserve indigenous craftsmanship and teach new skills to elevate sustainable livelihoods for female artisans and their families. The small project starting with just 5 women has grown into a community of over 100 artisans working in an oasis of calm and a hub of creativity in a bustling Arusha town. Sidai Designs founded Sidai Maasai Women Organization, a nationally registered NGO and charity. Partnering with Tanzanian organizations Sidai provide regular social women's programmes covering topics from women’s rights to caring for cattle. In a culture where women are often denied an education the classes that Sidai are positively life enhancing and invaluable.
